it originated when the JBR was going on I'd call into a national broadcast DC radio show (don & mike) simulcast on a Sac station that reached the east bay where i worked for a public agency early in my career. i did a bit as a hispanic gardener named juan benae wondering what all the fuss was about over me. i was a reoccurring "character" on the show over a couple year period speaking to them 5-6 times.

it was a dark subject that we put a bit of a spin on. nothing as dark as manson cause after the "charlie don't surf" how do you work around his act?

i don't put people on "ignore" here because the notification that they've posted only makes me wonder what they have attempted to contribute. that in and of itself is more of my attention that one might warrant. ive just decided to skip over whatever nonsense seanie post and never fulfil his desire to be noticed by replying. it has really improved my quality of life and the experience here greatly. im a few weeks in and it's working out great.

I browse and post from my phone. Putting these clowns on ignore really helps me scroll. If they something of value someone is bound to quote them. I have zero FOMO by hiding folks.
