Porsche Crests - Issues with Carrera East?

Has anyone had bad experiences with Carrera East on their service? This is in regards to the purchase of a custom Porsche Hood Crest

I purchased a custom Porsche Crest in December. The initial communication was good, Jim had indicated he would have it sent out within a couple of weeks, I asked that it be sent after the new year, and then never received anything. I contacted Jim, and he was slow to respond, but then finally did. He has not confirmed the shipping address , which I had given him, and he has not provided a tracking number. This was last month, and still no crest. And he has not responded since then.

Does anybody know Jim? Is he in bad health? Any info on how to reconcile this would be much appreciated.

try the tech forum. i know that seems counter intuitive, but this is for porsche car market valuations and discussions, not vendor questions like yours. you will reach a bigger audience and more likely to find a member familiar with the guy you mention there. and welcome to the PP forums.

November 2022, I ordered 4 wheel crests, 1 hood crest, and 1 steering wheel crest painted in Gentian Blue and Racing Yellow in Nov 2022 and paid $820. In addition, I purchased a steering wheel crest from Porsche of Annapolis and had it shipped directly to Jim Yurgealitis (required for the steering wheel crest). He answered an e-mail December 2022 and stated he was busy with work, had put my project on the back burner, and didn't know when he'd be able to finish. He answered my call in early spring and stated he was still busy with no idea when he'd finish.
Now, he's gone dark and none of my calls or e-mails are answered.
