MODE Intercooler values
Does anyone have guidance as to values of a NOS Mode Twin Turbo Intercooler and matching 3.2 intake, Wiggins Clamps, and Throttle Body
The easiest way to see it is here: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/818566-mode-twin-turbo-intercooler.html Thanks in advance. Jonathan

My unprofessional opinion is with intercoolers like TurboKraft and EFI maybe technology has moved on?

This piece is has a lot of value. Chris’s single turbo full bay intercoolers are great. And plenty efficient enough for most of our builds. And, I’m pretty sure he’ll have one made to match whatever build one wants. Weather it’s single or twin turbo. And from what I’ve seen, he’s very good at matching components to the specific build and maximizing the results. But, not only does the Mode have billet end caps and a massive core, it’s no longer made. And, IMHO, will always have a significant place in the 930 world. Also, the I/C has no bearing on fuel management. One could go EFI on any innercooler available or no innercooler at all. GLWTS truly turbo art

All I can say is I wish I had seen this months ago instead of building my own out of new Garrett I/C's It would have saved a lot of work.

~8-9k used
IC for bi turbo only. There is a 930 MODE IC as well. These intercoolers can be made to order but there is a 4x set min production. |
