356 Speedster

We have four original used 356 Porsche Speedster doors and need some help in placing a realistic value on them.

They are just out of 40+ year indoor storage and are not rusty or damaged.

Two are marked 528 and the others 807.

I also have a pair of original Speedster headlight grills.

Any help will be appreciated.

Maggie just as a WAG I would start around $5k for a pair , if you can find the numbered cars that
match the stamped numbers even better could be worth twice as much to those owners ...

Actually he’s a valued member here who tells people real numbers that they can sell them for at retail. Of course he will make a wholesale offer, but he’s 100% transparent that is what it is.

Have you got a personal interaction with him to back up your trash talk? Otherwise you’re just some random talking trash with nothing to back it up.

Only a guy who doesn't understand business goes around paying pennies on the dollar. 90% of the cars I buy are never advertised, people just know to call me. Why is that? Because they were referred by a friend or another Porsche guy. Why is that? Probably because I treated that guy right.

People who last in this business for decades aren't knee-capper's. That's how I always have a full yard of Porsches, that's how I fill trucks full of Porsches, because I'm known for being fair with people. There is plenty of money to be made in this business being fair. Guys that knee-cap gets some deals, sure, but they don't last because their phone stops ringing and there isn't enough Porsche's chasing cars that are advertised.
