Or else what? You’ll post again? But you asked nicely, even saying please twice, so I’ll leave off. I don’t come around here looking for trouble, in fact it’s just the opposite. The only real problem here is Bernie, and if he actually follows your advice we are all good. We had a few nice months of that after the last time he said he was going to leave me alone.

But then he and his buddy Pmax got themselves banned. And after his timeout he went on the warpath, convinced I had “snitched” on him and I was the cause of his woe. He’s incapable of just moving on. He asks over and over why we can’t be friends, while continuing to make remarks. It doesn’t appear you actually got through to him, but I’ll applaud you for your effort. You did actually try to make this place better.

I'm glad this happened on my thread! Who is Matt Monson? Join date 2007 21k posts. That is somewhat commedable but Matt Smith has him by 7 years join date. Many others do and their posts aren't random bullsh-t either. Matt Smith you have every reason to be pissed off with his flip flop posts that generally bully anyone who challenges his opinion or posts. Very often his data or opinion is wrong on Porsche or JDM cars. He won't acknowlegede that though. If you challenge his opinion you get attacked or ignored if he doesn't have a response. Then you get harem boy supporters who also knock one down. It's a cheese ball sh-t show by Matt Monson and his girls. You should be proud that you have the balls to stand up to him when no one else does... except me...

I will take advice from another member on this thread who said get out more. I need to take that advice. Sometimes I see this monopoly as stagnant as it is, and it makes me want to throw up! I will hang around a bit, but plan to get out and see some other forums and what they have to offer. This one has it's limits and someone using it for business has issues that everyone might agree with.

Dr, he has his own way working through the world as we all have. But he put a buzzer on an aspect of this forum which is not cool. And I've attempted to address that. This is Marketplace discussion. Everyone here has an equal voice. I clicked on this particular thread because I have an interest in 72-73 911 T's. I own one, and have now for 24 years. What happened in the discourse was a Fkn embarrassment to Pelican Parts Forum. I called it, and this is the result.

My god people… there is only one way to improve the signal to noise ratio around here, talk about the actual topic. You want to make the place better? This isn’t it.

Here, I’ll go first. If the car is a ROW car, the vin will start with 91135. It will be a 911/57 type number. The carbs will be Zeniths. If these numbers synch up, it’s likely the engine is original to the car, as you’ve been told.

It’s not that hard. Quit with the interpersonal BS. Don’t make the conversation about the people. Leave off the jabs and personal attacks. Get on the actual topic.

Thanks David! Well not yet, tthough it's just almost only two weeks. I won't bother him for now, dare I? I'll wait. He's that generation I mentioned that would say you don't meet the price. I really wanted an alum deck lid he had years ago, played that game and paid more than he thought it was worth. He felt guilty and gave me a couple parts that I got a rebate on by selling. He may counter as I said, yet I won't be bothering him or upping my offer... at least for now.
