I'm no purist, but keep it a 912E!
As someone pointed out they were a one-year USA ONLY car. Decent odd-ball survivors like this that haven't been hacked up, swapped or hotrodded are going up in value. They don't have much power but are a different animal in their own right. Enjoy it for what it is!
