the hole who seems a reverse L , do you think it's better to have a small tab on the tube that fits into the bottom of the L?

as if the clamp had to let go of the cap would remain in place.

Having been fleeced for the 110 litre tank I thought it was probably wise to purchase a underbody (factory replica) 'domex' tank guard from Chris Flavell at Fenn Lane Motorsport in Nuneaton.







During the following 3500 miles jaunt around Europe the underside of the car took a real hammering (particularly with the many French potholes) so the tank guard turned out to be a critical investment - should be compulsory for anyone with a plastic tank.
