Wow, truly rare. I have never seen this combination, except in the factory brochures!

Wayne, I am just curious, do you have any of the factory brochures from on or around 84. I would like to see what they look like. I have one of the original accessories catalogs in my car that came with my owners manual. I was wondering about the phone dials as well, I didn't know they were an option on the 911.

Keep in mind that Phone Dial rims were not optional, but were standard equipment. Note on any window sticker from the '80's that Fuch's were an extra cost option until 1987 when 15" Fuchs were standard. 16" Fuchs didn't become standard fitment to 911's until 1988 or 1989 (I can't remember anymore which year).

My brother's Euro 1983 911SC came with Phone Dials as standard equipment. He's still got them and uses them as winter storage wheels.

Here's a shot of my car from 2004 when the original owner had it.

Here's a window sticker from a 1985 Carrera. Note the Forged Alloy Wheels option and it's price. That's for Fuch's...

Hope this helps!

Jay

Bring it back on topic but still in the spirit of price values and options on an 84 Carrera. Although, I had no idea who D.B. Cooper was so I thought I'd look it up - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D._B._Cooper - learn something new every day.
