True but also more downforce and wider contact patch, along with better brakes makes the perfect track car, you can always go back and drop weight if you so desire, adding what I mentioned above is much more dificult.

Are we talking collectibility or track cars? They don't usually go hand in hand unless it's a vintage racing series (i.e. SVRA) where strict rules regarding contact and "dumb" driving apply.

If I were building a track car it would not be based on a 491 car per se unless it was a salvage or branded title car.

There are cheaper and better alternatives.

I don't think we were talking either, just value. Sure there a cheaper alternatives to a track car, but when it's all said and done you will probably spend more then the M491.

I purchaced mine based on why I wanted a Porsche to begin with

1. A street car that drives like an old school race car

2. Track capability

3. Little added investment on any upgrades after initial purchase

4. Something limited in production numbers without paying "collector" price tag
