924 GT Value
I know it's a long shot, but what would a nice 1-owner 1981 924 GT (the real thing) be worth today?
TIA

Condition is everything.
I would guess $45-55K for a good condition version. Maybe twice that, gulp, for a 924GTS? The cars weren't cheap when new, and IIRC, only 400 or so were built, so they are pretty rare.

Right now, there is a 1982 924 Carrera GT for sale by a dealer in Switzerland for 28,500 Swiss Francs. Just under 100k kilometers on it, looks like it's in good shape from the pictures. I think the same car was up for sale a few months ago for 25,500 Francs. FYI, the Swiss Franc is about $0.80.
How this applies to your market, I don't know, but it's somewhere to start...

There is a local (virginia) 924 Carerra GT for sale in the PCA CR classified. Asking $55 ish. Not sure of the mileage. Also consider having one in the US makes it more rare since they were never legalized for us consumption.

The car is now 25 years old, that makes it very easy to import to the US. No EPA or DOT to worry about. They are now exempt. There are plenty of them in Europe and the UK. Price about 25K I would not pay over 30k for a car already here.
