value of a track DE SC based car?
I have been looking at an SC based DE car with a 3.6 (964) with brake and suspension upgrades.
The engine and brake conversion alone is worth $14K Question is...how much is a good condition 3.6 SC conversion worth

Depends what you are going to do with it. By that I mean if you were to PCA Club race it, you would still have a lot of work to do, whether you stay in a stock class or want to be competitive in a GT class.
If its for your own DE/AX car, I would think figure out what the car would be worth with its SC motor and then add a bit ![]() Vague enough? Brake and conversion -$14K was a shop receipt? Figure 1/2 or so was labor.. so. 7k in parts alone. How long ago? Nowadays even on parts your looking at a return of 50% or less. So. figure if this car had a "tired" motor and needed a complete rebuild. That would cost you $7-10K. If its a 10K car w/o motor, then maybe its a $16K car with one.
