checking interest...
I have a 1989 911 carrera targa that I have been thinking about trading (plus a little cash) for a 98 or 99 boxster. I hate to see the 911 go (my baby) but I’m looking for something a little more friendly for my wife to drive. The 911 is in really good condition and I was just wanting to get some thoughts on if this is a good deal (kinda trying to talk myself out of it!!
![]() Anyway, if anyone has a boxster that they are wanting to trade for a 911 let me know. Email for pics . Thanks!! fanzine@cox.net |

Why only a '98 or '99 boxster?

boxter...
I heard the 97's had some engine troubles?? Maybe misinformed?? I was told to steer clear of the 97's unless engine had been replaced.
I can't really afford newer than a 99 using the 911 as trade, as 89 911's are going for close to what 98 or 99 boxters are going for. |

The 97-99 Boxsters are still dropping in price where as your 89 Targa may hold it's value or even appreciate.
There is a silver Tip-Tronic 2001 Boxster in my area going for $18,500 http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/405666975.html
