Best way to ship an engine from Cali to Florida?

Looking for suggestions to ship an engine from Southern Cal to South Florida. Anyone have some info they can pass on regarding reliable, fast delivery at a reasonable cost. Thanks

Forward Air .....about +- $280

Just had a 930 engine in a crate shipped from St. Louis to Sacramento (640lbs) via Forward Air. Was quick and efficient but cost $460.

Carcarrier . Door to door delivery(almost). aprox 800-1200 per car so engine box would be way cheeper.

I shipped a Honda XR600 dirt bike from California. Surprisingly inexpensive and quick.

I've used Old Dominion trucking. Door to door service. Not bad in my experience.

Post Script.
I ended up shipping the complete engine from CA to FL in 3 separate boxes less than 100lbs each with Greyhound. Total cost was less than $200.
I was delivered ion 3 days. This is the best and cheapest way to go with parts that can be boxed and kept under 100lbs each...

I paid less than $200 with Greyhound and it took 3 days. Do the math.

Add palette weight, exhaust, flywheel and complete MFI to the weight of the motor itself. I know how much it cost because I had to pay it.
