1982 911SC Value Needed
Curious as to where Excellence placed the 1982SC Coupe values this last time.
Also would like to get an idea of what is being realized in the market. 87,000 original miles Well maintained, pampered car. Engine upgrades and new head studs. New Alt. New tires. New Battery. Factory tail and chinstrap. Just need an idea. Thanks

This car would sell at a Porsche dealer for about $15K asking price. You might get $12K for it if you can find a buyer. I assume the interior is good, the body and paint are OK, and it has the tensioner and pop-off upgrades, and it isn't leaking oil.

I would say that mileage would warrant the low end to be 12K. When I was looking a GP white one with many more miles sold for 14k.

Dealer by me sold three SC's within the last year that had over 100,000 miles for $15,000 and up.
All depends on condition, color, maintenance, location, season etc. Found my twin for sale 170,000 miles for $17,900 http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=25&pageNum ber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage= 0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending& certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7cE-ALL%7cM-_41_%7cA-10000%7cH-%7cD-_386_%7cN-N%7cR-250%7cI-1%7cP-PRICE+descending%7cQ-descending%7cY-_1982-1981-1980-1979_%7cX-antique%7cZ-27616&aff=national&paId=249769930&recnum=1&leadExi sts=true

I thought it was fair in saying the bottom would be 12K. I looked at plenty in the last 6 months and the White ones seemed to fetch the higher asking price and usually were in better condition. That being said most of those that I inquired about are still for sale and partly due to price.
Brumos sold one on ebay a month back with 110K on it for 11K. I was going to buy that one but wound up getting a red one. One just sold here for 14K yesterday. I would think 14k was the average and 20k was the high. Ebay and Craigslist would give you an idea on selling price as well.

Now in 993 land ...

14k would sell it. Around here the 10k SCs seem gone. Every beater is 12 now, so the relatively low mileage should be worth a bit of a premium and prices in Colorado should be higher than in the Bay Area as well.
