74 Carrera pricing
Take a look at this. Does anyone know if this is a Euro or US Carrera? I think the asking price is $105,000. I remember seeing on another site, but don't remember where. FOUND THE LINK.

Interesting..
Base on the wording of where/how delivered.. I would assume that it is a US Carrera. I do believe in 74 they were available through the US dealernetwork as there was a gentleman here in my area that bought one new. It was a Gulf Blue Targa, with Carrera Stripe, factory duck tail and of course the flared fenders as we later saw on the SC. I would however wonder which 2.7 the car came with... in essence were the 74 Carreras basically a visual option with a standard 2.7 911S motor or was it true RS spec? Sorry to provide more confusion than answer.. P-

Isn't a "concourse" a walkway between two buildings...or something like that?

Anyone who buys this should get a discount just for trying to read through all the spelling errors.
Let's call this a 74' Grammara |

The ad was written by someone who doesn't know the car.
A US spec '74 Carerra had the 2.7l CIS motor of the US 911s. Depending on whether DIN or SAE, the HP rating was 175 / 167. While correct, Porsche only sold about 500 of these in the US, the only mechanical advantage over a 74 S was the larger rear fenders. And technically, an original 74 US Carerra came with 6/7x15s fuchs. If the car was a genuine, European Carerra with MFI, there would be a pic of it. Those cars are worth 100K.. A US 74 Carerra would be lucky to get low 20s.

Haven't seen an MFI car trade for more than 60K, but prices have been going up rather fast. Two years ago you could have had one for 30K. I don't expect this to continue, given the state of the economy here and in Europe.
