Value? 1977 2.7 engine complete 84k miles

I'm interested in hearing some value opinions on the engine described below:

"1977 2.7 CIS engine. Engine is an OEM non thermal reactor (air pump only) engine. This is good - no cooking of the heads from thermal reactors. The air pump has been removed. I don't think there are any broken head studs.

It has 84k miles. I have limited paperwork history of this engine. Airbox with pop off valve added within the last 1k miles. Misc maintenance work performed over the years. No history of engine rebuild.

There are a few oil leaks from the engine. It doesn't leak excessively put it does leak (as most 2.7 engines do).

At operating temps the engine ran and pulled very well. Good idle. I was impressed with it's performance the few times I drove it in my '77 coupe. At the time I was use to a 3.0 and the 2.7 held it's own. I bought my '77 strictly for the non-sunroof bare options chassis. When I was buying the car I checked the general condition of the drivetrain to make sure it was ok. I figured I could sell the drivetrain to help offset the cost of the chassis a bit. The whole overall car was in good running condition.

When starting the engine cold it has a high idle for the first few minutes. After the CIS valve (I'm not sure which) opened/closed/whatever the idle settled down and was fine from then on. When we pulled the engine out of my '77 project I found a nice size tear in one of the CIS vacuum lines. I'm pretty sure this leak was the cause of the high idle.

The engine was running with a MSD style igntion. It worked fine but the wiring was a bit messy. All the wiring is still intact.

I'm thinking $2500."

Your thoughts are welcomed! Thanks,
