Nice 914 - Think I can get $6k?
I have a 914 that I have rebuilt top to bottom over the last 4 yrs. Just completed an engine rebuild and it finally runs like a sports car. Unfortunately I need the cash - this economy has caught up to me! The car looks great from 10 feet and the interior is really nice - with leather seats, custom dash and upgraded gauging that includes oil temp, oil pressure and voltage. The one item that will give everyone hesitation is that it has a salvage title due to the front clip being replaced. Some have said that is really bad and others have said it should be OK. It seems OK and handles flawlessly. I do not know if it was done "right" or not. My conscience says I need to provide "full disclosure". Much below $6k and I will keep it - and considering selling my 911.
Would like to hear from the board on what they think! ![]()

Hard to say. Being up front has its benefits.
I bought a salvage title car. It was sprung on me very late in the deal. I would list it and discuss it w/ the potential buyers.

It is a '73 with a rebuilt motor. It is bored out to 1911 cc with dual Webers, and an aggressive cam. Pretty well sorted. Runs great. The only part of the car that has not been touched are the rear brakes - everything else has been refurbished.
