How exciting! To have that many cars to chose from, pretty cool. Looks great!

I don't think I have ever seen the push-bar style light bar, looks cool, but if it was my car, i would remove it.

How did you come to find this one?

George, you need some serious therapy brother!

Congratulations on the new purchase, and I also noticed you posted a couple of days ago about a potential 1970 911. Is this car in lieu of the 70 or in addition?! Regardless, you have another very nice and period correct longhood. If it was any shade of green instead of Bahama Yellow, it would match my jealousy.

The push bar, by the way, looks to be the typical Amco aftermarket product with lights attatched. You can confirm this if the bar is screwed to the sides of the bumperettes via a vertical end piece. The factory did provide push bars, but the bar itself bolted directly into the bumperettes.

Found this one via an ad in Hemmings several months ago. I initially saw the car in the spring, and made an offer, which the seller turned down. The car was in West Virginia, and we have a vacation home in NC. We're here on a summer vacation, so I called the seller again to see if the was still available and it was, so we made a deal.

The pushbar has a vertical tab through which two screws attach it to the bumperettes, so it sounds like an aftermarket piece. I'm inclined to remove it along with the lights. I'm not sure I can say with any honesty that this car is in lieu of anything, as I'm still trying to get more info about that 1970 and I may have a lead on another 72.......

I think this is my therapy. Group sessions provided courtesy of Wayne!

Same question!

I have the push bars front and rear on a 1967 911. I don't have the fog lights however! I have the COA and it mentions the bumper horns but not the push bars. I think they look cool. Just my opinion. I would also like to know if they are stock or not.
