Help! What is this 05 997 S worth?

What is this car worth? A friend passed away and I'm trying to help his wife sell this car...

Does $50-60K sound about right for a private sale? The car is in 'like new' condition.

'05 Carrera S - 8K miles

I'd say $48-50 max. Miles & options are great and the colors are the issue. Yellow is about 4% of Porsche production. Most speed yellow Porsches have black interiors so cocoa is even more unusual and very European in my opinion.

Those who want yellow are few and far between, however there are few Porsches in yellow so that can drive prices up. Today I sold a speed yellow Porsche for the asking price to the one person who wanted it.

996 and 997 prices are relatively low as supply is high and demand is low in this economy. That car will be hard to sell once you own it due to the color combo. If you like, buy it. Colors are a matter of personal preference.
