Going rate for 15x6 flat fuchs?
What is a fair price for a set of 4 'flat' 71-77 15x6 fuchs wheels that are straight with little to no curb damage? Would like to get a set and have either Mr Weidman or Mr Reed refinish. Cannot afford deep 6s at this time (perhaps ever)...but flat 6s are technically appropriate since 71 was the changeover year, no?
Additionally, what does refinishing with polished petals & lip generally cost? Just trying to plan ahead for winter projects (complete suspension overhaul & better wheels...possibly even add a radio!)

I just bought a set of 5, full polish (no paint at all). 5 wheels for $1250, matching part #s, all dated 3/73. I think the price was very fair.
I'm going to paint them early-style myself, for about $50, and see how that looks. While looking, I found prices from $200 for a wheel that needed a lot of work to $350-400 for a wheel that was all done and perfect and ready to go. IIRC you should expect to pay about a hundred bucks a wheel for the Al Reed treatment, but you really should call. I'm sure the prices vary depending on what you want done.

I recently paid $175 for one that was in good condition. Also recently paid $600 for a nicely polished set of 16X6 & 16X7 that included tires......When you consider shipping and polishing, I think you're ahead to get a set already done if you can find them....Prices seems to be down from what they were a year or two ago.....
