Thoughts on pricing for this SC

Just over 105K miles, special order color, 7&8's from the factory, sports seats. Recent work includes Carrera tensioners, and a top end re build, all the engine studs replaced after finding two cracked ones.
There is a tear on the headliner, and it needs new rubber (owner is working with me on this) He wants very high teens

REALLY pretty car. Would personally try to get it for $18k less headliner replacement cost.

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

sweet......... what year?

PPI to verify nothing hidden; ie expensive........ High teens seems high but given condition and mileage might be a fair value.

This car has been on Auto trader for nearly a year at that high price. Personally I LOVE the color its a stunning stunning car. I would have a PPI done but I dont think its worth nearly 18k. Something in the 14 maybe 15 K is closer to the market IMO.

Low- to mid-teens nowadays for SCs... this one isn't particularly low miles so can't add anything for mileage.

Nice G50 Carreras are selling in the range of what your seller is asking for this SC, and they are superior cars in almost every way, including resale value.

That one looks nice though, hope you can get it for the right price.

Cheers

d.

I believe mine is that color. I have 81sc Euro which I recently purchased for $13,500.00. 155k and great condition. Dentist did everything to the car and put 50k of easy highway miles on it the past five years. Extras were another set of wheels, no sunroof, and very cold a/c.

High teens is dreaming for that car. An 18k SC would have 60k or less miles and be perfect (no issues with headliners and no modifications). Speaking of mods, the wheels look terrible on there. An original finish fuchs would complement the black window trim and the car color much better. This is a 14k car. With everything fixed - needs nothing, let it be 15k.

Also, it may be the light, but the decklid looks like it may have had some paint work. Not uncommon on these - my SC lid was faded badly from engine heat and I had it repainted.
