Supercharged 911
What are the weak links with supercharged 911's? Any opinions on this car?

I'd want to know if they changed out pistons (ie lower compression) or not and how much boost it runs at.
I have known someone who loved their supercharged 3.2, but it wasn't overly aggrressively set up.. it was set up with reliability in mind. I am sure Purists will hate it. ![]() The car itself appears "clean" but the ad description is a tad short for what would be a "unique car". Not sure if there would be emissions issues in your state when registering the car as well.

You would absolutely not want to buy that car without a major PPI of the engine.
The price of the car suggests that you are paying for their mods which is not how it works. I would pay no more than what a regular 911 could be had for. Even then, this car has no purist value as mentioned. That being said it could be a wonderful car, who knows? I would not bid on the car on ebay, let it expire and then contact the owner directly, maybe shoot him an email before the auction expires and get his phone number. |
