Lightbulb 7x16 and 9x16 Fuch's...pricing?

I am thinking of selling my set that is currently sitting on my 944 street/track car (see seperate post) and am wondering what the market is like.

based on conversations with a number of fellow racers and enthusiasts I have heard a lot of opinions.

I have done search on this and other sites and the prices seem to be all over the board.

When I bought in 2005, I paid $1000 for "930" 7/9 wheels.
When I bought in 2004, I paid $700 for 951 7/8 wheels.

I have heard folks asking for as much as $2000, but think that is insane. I think somewhere in the $1-1.5K range is still realistic.. but a bigger issue now than just a few years ago is that there are fewer tire (brands) available to fit that rim size as 16"s fall out of favor with modern cars that now run 17-19" wheels.

I just sold my 9's for $1600 for a pair...waited a long time to get a buyer for that

$2000+ use to be the norm, I see then anywhere from $1500 to $1700 now.

Anything over $2500 is a way over priced that goes for 8's also. At that price point you can start making some 17's which would be better

What about a pair of aftermarket 9x16 Fuchs? I had these on my '81 SC before I sold it.....I've heard they are not as strong as the originals but unless you are doing track or autocross may not be a big deal. Opinions? Buyers?
