Without a motor? I'd say maybe $4-5K as is. Maybe a little motor if you have the time/space/patience to part it out.
Figure a working one (with motor) is only a $10-13K car in most markets. A used motor (unknown history) is maybe $2500-3500? A "crate" motor is maybe $10K? or a potential buyer might upgrade to a 3.2 or a 3.4l motor.

while you can't use this as a data point, there is an article in the December Panorama magazine "Boxster Crisis". The author purchased a 99 boxster w/ 14,500 miles excellent condiction except for a shot motor. the asking price was $9k, but the author doesn't reveal what he paid for it. he iws going to go into detail on what he is going to do w/ the car going forward.
But on information in that article and the one you are looking at, i would say no more than $4k.
