2.7 engine value?

Engine is the 911/43 from a '75 911S with 7R case in perfect condition. Entire engine was disassembled, steam cleaned, and then packed per attached photo from the P.O., an airman who upgraded to a 3.0. This engine was running fine when he removed it and since he had access to the base's facilities, he was able to "process" the engine after removal. There's a box of fasteners that came with it too. The rods are numbered to match with each cylinder which also has a small corresponding magic marker number above each opening. The studs are all still installed and threads are all in perfect condition - not buggered up at all.
I bought this engine quite a few years ago thinking maybe one day I would perhaps modify it for my '73 2.4 T - but I just sold that car and now am thinking about freeing up some space.
Do you think something like this is worth just keeping and would be worth more down the road - like in 10 years? I'm not in a $ bind but just re-thinking how much stuff I have vs. space to keep it all in.
