Question in regards to pricing on a 95 C2 coupe
Hi, I have a friend whose looking at selling his 1995 Porsche 993 Ultra low miles and wanted to get an idea on price. The car has just shy of 7400 original miles and he is the original owner. It is a C2 coupe, 6spd with low options. I know I saw a similar car at Sloan with 5k miles for $59k but think that is on the high side. The car is Silver/Grey leather interior. No special or high-end options. The car does have a wing on it but have the original pieces as well. Any opinions are appreciated.

I would say 45k. The wing should be replaced if possible to maximize value.

Sloan is known for pricing (creating?) the high side of the market price range. A car with so few miles should be returned to "showroom condition".. replace the wing, get a high end detail as well. Start high ($48-50) and see what happens, no?
Given the low miles, does it still have, say, original tires? complete toolkit? ie, would a concours/"originality buff" go crazy? are there obvious stone chipes etc?

39k
I don't know what it is but he 993's are stupid money right now especially the turbos. You can either by a 05 997, a 07-08 cayman S or a 993 cs2 for the same money ? 95 is nothing special so i gave 9k for the low miles. My opinion. Bob

I have seen decent 95' tiptronic coupes sell for low 20's. That car should really be brokered to a reseller to maximize value, a car with that low of miles needs to be marketed.

Great car.... Get rid of wing..... $40 to $45 depending on speed of transaction requirements.

Thanks for all the input I posted it for sale here in the classifieds. Asking price was $45k but buddy said he'd take $43k for it so just updated it. Do you think we are along with current market value? He paid close to $70k out the door for it New in 1995.

I watch the 993 market pretty close and I think it will take a while for him to find a buyer, but I think you're in line with that asking price.
I dont think the price is the problem, its waiting for someone who is specifically looking for a very low mileage 993 and willing to pay a premium for it. Definitely put the original rear back on. GLWS
