Pleco wants only '82-83, must be black/black w/turbo tail. Don't think he'll be interested in a silver one.

This was Denny's SC - he showed it to me when I had my car PPI'd by his shop.

Aker's has quite a history in Seattle - you can bet this car had All Mod Cons performed over the years with no expense spared. This would be an excellent car for someone who wants an SC that needs little to nothing.

Couple of black ones on ebay this week- and a reasonably priced black 930 as well... the cars are out there for sure...

Can't pull the trigger. . .

Holds out for some sort of elusive perfection, based on color or year or a tail, rather than something available, in good driving shape, for sale by a Pelican and ready to be taken out onto the road today.

Far from the truth! I was ready to drop over $28k on a car until a p-mechanic told me to run as far and as fast as I could.

There are other colors I like, but black is #1. There is a 930 on Ebay in velvet red/cream that I find very intriguing- beautiful stance/presence, but too many miles for the price.

Not sure if the interior is black...I must be a personal shopper in another life

I saw a distinguished couple at the safeway in mid-valley carmel (black/black early 80's sc coupe with whale tail with a for sale sign) last week...small town here, so if I see them again and it is still available, I'll take pictures and get some info for you...will let you know asap.

damaged? you do realize these cars are 30 years old, right? you do realize that if these cars are driven no more than 5000 miles a year, they will still have 150,000 or so miles on them, right? what in god's name do you expect from a 30 year old car?

unless you aren't interested in driving a porsche, but would rather dust one. garage furniture is nice i guess, buy ferry porsche sure wouldn't understand.

and neither do i. takes all kinds i guess.
