Reference Checks - PPI
Hi,
Quick question (as I couldn't find anything blatantly obvious using Search) - what's the correct way to ask for reference checks on a shop to do a PPI? The car I'm looking at is at the shop the owner has been having it serviced at the last 4 years - nothing wrong with it - that's just where it is as the owner has business commitments and no time to field the inquiries. I'd like to ask about that particular shop located in PA. Thanks Chris |

Why temp the fates, get a second shop to do the PPI. Have the seller take the car there, if he "does not have time" then walk. When buying a car from a distance, transparency is always the best.
