I wouldn't be so sure about that - would definitely require some additional investigative work to verify (I volunteer you, Eric)!!!! :)

The evidence is all over the Internet that my boxster is a MANS car SmileWavy

There was talk of selling it last week after looking at a 74 for sale and imagining doing a recreation of the pink iroc car .
Might still happen ....

Not sure what the market will think of the pink wheels though .

Matt Monson 04-27-2014 08:48 PM

Call them "sti pink" and some Subaru guy will buy it.

ian c2 04-28-2014 03:51 AM

But wont that confuse them as Subaru are the only car to have a boxer engine !!
Or was that scion ?

And the trunk badge. [jaw hits floor]

It was supposed to be one of those "R.I.P. in loving memory of ..." Stickers to commemorate the death of my dog .
But I messed it up putting it on .

Until the flat brimmers moved in and the WRX became the new Civic, most STi owners/fans knew the boxer connection. Just like they knew the Prodrive connection with 959s, McRae's original RS-RA and the rest of the Subaru rally lineage.

But now, unfortunately, the PML's of the world prevail. Hey there's an idea. Have you got immaculate service records? If so, PML might buy it.

ian c2 04-28-2014 08:26 PM

I've got an immaculate conception he can buy .
