63 356 Value

I was asked by a neighbor to help sell a parted 1963 356 he has left from his '64 restoration. He needed the rear quarters.
It is a partial shell with transmission. Serial number 129832. Any suggestions on value and where to post. I spoke with Unobtanium at Hershey and got an offer on the shell, but not tranny.

Ed, check out Rusty Tubs (Roswell, GA). They have a great website and specialize in 356. The owner is a great guy and knows the value of all these parts. He can give you some values and ideas................

Thanks guys, we have been communicating with the seller(s) as well.

We always buy things like this, so if there are any others wanting to sell a pile of rust or parts....call

877-356 TUBS.

We pay immediately and send trucks for quick and easy pick up.

It keeps amazing me what there is value in these days. What color is it anyway? But nice that these old parts gives new life to other old cars. I bet that the year mean CO2 emission of a Tesla from production to scrap is 100 times higher than our old cars that just keep on rolling year after year after year.

Old Porsches are great for the environment!

I dunno...how much CO2 does MIG welding rust generate?

Anytime Ed.

Rick came to my rescue one time when my 73.5T would not start in the parking lot of a Post Office. Turned out one of the electrical connectors on the fuel pump came loose. That's when I heard about Rusty Tubs. Good folks.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. How sick would you feel if your car got burned up in a fire?

I would be pretty unhappy about that, I can tell you.
