Contributing factors which increase value

I am looking to find out what contributing factors increase a value of a SC- Carrera Porsche. We all know condition of vehicle but what other factors? Please comment on list below: And feel free to add-

Rare car colors
Dealer in which car was purchased new
Special wishes car
Euro delivery
Size of Fuchs
Polished Fuchs
Sport seats
Leather option
Whale tale
Black market euro vehicle

I would say that rare factory colors and euro spec. are factors to be considered.
Everything else is of relative insignificance compared to the overall condition of a car.

But all things equal..........well, that scenario will never occur.
So there is no point making too many lists and matrixes.

I don't think polished Fuchs add value. Most people I talk to prefer the original anodized look. And whale tails are mostly out of favor right now, except maybe for a few limited specials that came with them originally.

Still, condition is king.
SC's and Carreras are not collectors cars...............yet!!
(except 2.7 & 3.0 euro carreras)
So for now, they will primarily be considered and valued as drivers.
I would expect less originality-/options-/history-/records hysteria associated with these cars.
But polished Fuchs will definitely not add value to anything but the ealiest 911S ;-)

Not just having records of work/maintenance but where work was performed.
If its a coupe, I think the sunroof delete option could help a bit.

Just a couple additions to the list that made a difference to me when making a decision.

This is true, but I still think the silk like anodized finish is more desirable.
At least it seems to be in Europe.........might not be the case in US.

There are those who think the lack of a sunroof on a SC or Carrera coupe in North America (where the distributor virtually dictated sunroofs) is considered 'exotic.' For me it's a minus.

EDIT: I do not believe polished Fuchs were an option. The anodizing toughens the surface and polishing exposes the raw aluminum alloy. It costs about $200 per wheel to restore anodizing.

I think there is a very small group of us who do not like sunroofs for practical reasons. I know that some folks who are into motorsport don't like them for the mass and the location of the mass.

I don't like them because of headroom and potential for water ingress. I have never liked having an open sunroof during driving due to the noise and buffeting - however, on a warm night, it's nice to have the option. Those times are rare enough here that in my ownership of this car, I have opened the sunroof just the once - when I was test-driving the car. I wanted to check for proper function. If I had my preference, NONE of my cars would have a sunroof. But I will admit freely that my reasoning is in the substantial minority.

In Europe, most enthusiasts prefer sunroof delete.
Because it is less problematic, lighter, more race car´ish and looks better.

I forgot that part. The added complexity is another issue. But I'm also OK with manual windows, manual seats and would very much like to retrofit those things to my car. Maybe I'm a longhood guy trapped in a 3.2 body.

My carrera has the code for polished Fuchs and the original polished Fuchs on the car. so yes polished Fuchs were an option. However they may be part of the special wishes department.

Limited or anniversary editions.... how many were made is also a big factor, also how many are still around!!!. our cars are already a limited production car compared to most other makes which includes models that would fall into the rare category (less than 500 made ect...)

On a 3.2:

ROW adds value,
Rare color adds value,
Sport seats adds value,
Cloth interior adds value especially with sport seats,
Manual windows adds value (really rare only on 1984),
LSD option,
No sunroof adds value,

If you could get the whole package above in a rare color you would have an extremely rare and valuable car.
