How (not) to sell a car?

1975 911 Coupe - READ the AD

I wonder how many inquiries this one has gotten?

While I'm certain that we will some day look back and wistfully recall a time when mid-year coupes could be purchased for less than $20k, are we already at the point where a non-runner can be so standoff-ishly and firmly priced at $17.5k?

The best part is, it's "not drivable, been sitting, leaks oil"

Where do I get this guy the money? I want that car based only on those three things!

Says to leave your phone number and don't leave your phone number? He's confused.

He seems pretty grumpy no doubt from being jerked around on Craig's list and having unrealistic selling price expectation s

Time to email him for more pics, ask him if it runs, and if it leaks any oil.

This guy is will known for having cars for sale for years at high prices and being extremely rude to people for inquiring. Maybe his form of enjoyment but beware.

First ask him if the car is still for sale. That is my personal favorite.
