If you aren't going to sell until next Spring, anything we say is meaningless. There was such a massive change in values in the last 6-9 months. Anybody's guess where we will be in another 6-9 months.

The big question is: how bad do you want to sell it?
Red, gold BBS wheels, tail -- hard to get more 80s kitsch than that. i don't know any of the background of this car. State of the engine, records, etc. Taking it at face value, I'd guess that $38-40k is a "my wife wants me to sell it" price. If you need it sold quicker, look toward a $35k ask, and be ready to negotiate.

COLB, it's the other way around. I want to sell it and she wants me to keep it. Mechanically sound, dumped 13k into it this this time last year. Has its flaws, Air doesn't work. I think it needs a charge. The cruise only works sometimes and the wipers work intermittently. I do only drive it when the weather is nice , and the top is always off except when I store it in the winter. The paint is original and shows much patina. I would rate it a 7 1/2 to 8 out of 10. I would hate to see it go but I don't think I can afford to fix it in the future if something goes wrong. It's just a matter of time before it needs another 2k here and 1k there.

I've always loved those wheels. Always will. And they mate to GR so perfectly. I think you can get $35k for that car. Ask $40k and take best offer between the two.

I don't see more than $35k without the original Fuchs.
