Let's see...early body, early front suspension/clip and early rear suspension/clip, franken-fabricated chassis, Corvair engine and transmission, and an aluminum radiator mocked up as an "intercooler".

If the fabrication alone wasn't bad enough, the fact that if this chassis does indeed have a 1990 VIN and title means 100% VIN-fraud...there's nothing from a 1990 that could legally carry a VIN over to this car.
Each successive picture is somehow worse than the last. You start with the hood pins, then the dash by my 5 year old, the fix-a-flat, then whatever is happening in the frunk, then the undercarriage, and then finally whatever that is in the engine bay. My goodness.

Gives new meaning to the words: Caveat Emptor.
Reminds me of Fieros dressed up in fiberglass to look like Testa Rossas.

Total insanity, makes no sense. That’s literally how much I paid for my first 911, and it had this spoiler on it!

RSA tail, as no wiper hole. Only $12.5k to have the hole filled in, typical low volume Porsche part$. Also a crazy low volume auction.

Makes me think about the spare to me RSA tail I have sitting here....

Correct, RSA tails aren't as common and many of them were removed in favor of 3.8 wings.

Funny how EVERY car in this 8 year old thread thread is now worth significantly more (double or triple) than the asking price that was ridiculed

Wow i had a NIB RSA tail and all the hardware rubber lip grills etc. I sold a few years back for $3k.

You could still buy the 3.2 carrera tail complete from Porsche at the time but it came with the upper plastic piece from an RSA without the whole. I will have to find the photos and part number for it as a compete kit but you can buy the base and wing without the rest new from Porsche for around $1500 and then the rest of the parts which aren't too expensive. The only factory part NLA AFAIK are the mounting brackets for the deck lid which isn't even part of the sale.I picked up a factory deck lid and RSA wing 15 years ago for $900 Shipped. It cost me as much to have painted.

I mistakingly sold the last 94 turbo S flachbau tail in its original gel coat during covid for $10k someone offered me $40k a few months back. Oh well.

People are crazy with too much $$ to throw away on these. I hear stories all the time from people who overpaid for parts still available new. I spoke with someone who paid $16k for new speedlines a week after I picked up a new set for $8800 from Porsche.
