That car will have provenance since it was sold and not a trade. That will be a more interesting sales history than my 67 912 that came out of the Wyoming collection...

Very optimistic . And did you read the follow-on comment?

Matt. The follow up comment was geared to catch the eye of the idiot who jerked me for half a day saying he was sending funds and was a committed buyer at the agreed
to come back and offer a fraction of an already agreed on price. I believe he was same guy who posted in marketplace last month wanting to buy any Porsche regardless of condition. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Just save time and eliminate the cheesy low ballers and resellers. Did that by the price but seriously, think about what the car is worth in parts alone. The core motor,? Trans is worth 1200 as a core, rebuilt a lot more, roller alone is worth 5 - 8k on eBay. The buyer is a great guy who will get er done. When finished it'll be a gem. Thx Brian and can't wait to see it brought back from the brink!! Cheers. Mark

Sounds like the same travelling A-hole who wanted to buy a 3 of my 911s, kept leaving notes on one of them, when he caught me in my driveway, and saw that I had a few more 911s, asked me what it would take to sell them, and them I told him that I had a few more at another location, he kept on. We agreed on a price for what I was willing to sell, shook on it & he left. Nothing for a few days, then his son calls, and comes over, course he tries to offer me less, saying "dad" said it was $XXX, and I said, yes he did, but I told him no, and if he wanted he would pay the agreed on price. He agreed and said he would be back in a few days, never heard from them again.

Thanks for clarifying. Glad you were able to get her sold!

LOL, that isn't the only city that is listed in:p

From the trees and lack of pines, doesn't look like FL. But I do know where a few like that are sitting on a friends property.
And you don't want to know what this RSR sold for years ago.

And yes, that was really a factory RSR:cool:

I was just going to start a thread about this car. It's my daily driver and it feels like it's stuck in gear after a few ft. Feels like it's got a chain attached or holding it back. Any ideas how to fix this? M

Oh yeah. There's a rather large breeze blowing through car. I'll get it sorted.

What is funny, is that it is listed that it is located 5 miles from my house, LOL.
I sent a note saying that I'm local, have saw & trailer and am interested, be interesting if I get a response. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1439301809.jpg

Here's an example at the other end of the spectrum. Not a Carrera. Just a 911 targa.
