thinking about selling turbo 3.6, advice please!

my car is 1994 guard red (I know , not the color everyone wants.)
has 85k miles
been painted but good job, looks like old repaint.
car is very good driver quality, turn key, everything works.
no old records before I bought it 4 years ago, but since I own it, I had engine out service, valve job, rebuilt turbo, P-zero tires, new clutch, new brakes, ..... all done in specialist Porsche shop in San Diego with their master tech, receipt over 25,000 and very recent. COA and all number matches. has nice owner's manuals.

Clean title, clean carfax, San Diego car for long.
I know many of lower miles one listed for sky high price, mine is not low miles.
however, mine is perfect driver, and the car you won't worry too much to drive compare to those 10k miles example.
what's the realist price to sell my car ? think of selling this and get into long hood cars,

any advice thanks in advance.

I'll take a shot... $175k.... Thats the car to own if you want a turbo. Just looking at the markets for 965's and seeing where some of the other lower miles 94's have sold recently... doing a little price interpolation.

Great car to own since its a driver!

"the dog's balls"- is this a good or bad thing??? Sounds like a good thing, but I feel a little weird lusting after that like I do a 965 Turbo.

BTW... seems like a good auction car as these are rare beasts and it seems to be a sellers market these days.

id say 150-200 provided the respray isn't from any hard hits

it will be very interesting to see what these cars are worth in another 15 years, my guess is about the same as now, but who knows.

thanks for all input, I was thinking about the same numbers.
I really like the car, however, have been thinking this is good time to cash out and try something else.

I will be watching. My 3.6 just turned 94k miles but it is black. If I was going to list mine I would list it for $155-165k. No idea if it would sell but that is what it would take for me to consider it.

it seems like last week when I couldn't believe a nice 3.6t would cost 70k when you could get a 3.3 for half as much.

The free market is a crazy place!!!

1994's are simply gorgeous.... and I love red. Their price will continue to climb as there were so few made. I would price it at 135-145k but not be excited when it was gone. Interested in a partial GT2 trade?

Just got back from monterey. Russo had 2 low mileage. About mid to high 20k range. Both bid to $220k range.

R&S usually has the worst cars, terrible place to try and sell one of these cars. It doesn't appear either car hit reserve. The car at Gooding sold with no reserve for $250k, $275k including buyers premium. The car at Mecum also was at $250k but didn't hit reserve. All were well below the auction estimates.

I believe they all have a 10% buyer premium.

I tried to look the price on 2008 gt2 but not found any. I think it worth a lot more than my cat though.

This is the most recent sale for a 08 that I know of. Car only had 8k miles and it sold within a few days. Listing price was $139,999.
