It's really hard to tell much from the pics. If mileage checks out compared to condition, it very well could be worth 30-35k. Cars true condition always tell the real story. If you can't get there to look at, see if another Pelican can? Good luck, Tim

It looks interesting. I might go check it out myself if ithe other car I'm working on falls through.

Wiser men than me can provide better insight, but my two cents:
Black on black is one of the most common color combos, not sure what makes it 'desirable'.
Any cracks in the dash?
Why was the rear deck repainted?
There are no pictures of the undercarriage.
Service receipts from 2013 = no service receipts before that date. How many owners has the car had?
Clean title?
Lot of work done in the past two years, I would ask which shop has done that work
Usually ads say "no rust anywhere" even when it's patently false, while here they don't say anything. It probably just slipped them but I would ask specifically.
Head studs are always a concern with SCs, I would ask the seller if they've been done, but then why wouldn't they mention it in the ad if they did. Not a showstopper but a potential pricey day 1 piece of work.

If the car's local to you, worth taking a look. Overall, if it's good as advertised and passes a thorough PPI, $35k might not be a bad price.

Thanks for the feedback! I did ask the seller if the head studs had been addressed and unfortunately they weren't. I'm going to see the car in person and see if its worth a PPI by P-Shop.

No matter how nice the top of the car may look, any car being sold out of mid-west should have the underside looked at for rust...

Not sure when Pennsylvania became the mid-west, but I hear you on the rust. Check carefully, everywhere.

I'd also be concerned, or suspicious, of a 52,000 mile, 35 year old car. That's low...very low, and deserves a careful look over to make sure it's really that low.

Certainly prime SC examples command $30k. A true, well kept 52,000 mile SC should command $35 for sure. The head studs would be a real head shaker for me though. It's not a matter of if you do it or not; it's when, and it's not an easy or cheap job. Therein lies the rub.

If you're truly in the market, it's certainly worth your consideration. They're are cheaper SC's out there, but not many with 52K.

Depending on build date, that car may have come with an 85mph speedo. Documentation would be nice.
Front spoiler but no rear could explain the decklid respray?

Could be worth 35 if it checks out.

I passed on the black SC started on this thread. I wasn't comfortable with NOT having the heads studs done. SO, I'm still on the hunt! Thoughts on this one:

On the surface it looks decent and seems like an honest seller and fair price. It wont last long. If your interested you should make an offer. Not many G50 cars around in that price range. Best part is its not being sold by some douchebag flipper.

87 looks like a nice car but it does not have heat. Piece missing off heat exchangers. Looks like the owner may DE the car maybe he took it off for less weight. Ask if he still has it.
