The more power the car has the less noticeable the weight of the Ruf wheels is. I've used them on my turbo and 3.6 cars. They are the smoothest (straightest?!) riding wheels of all the wheels I've used on my 911s.

After saying that... I may be selling my set of 8&9x17 Ruf Speedline Classics in the near future.

To the OP, congratulations on your sale.
Yeah, like crazy heavy, in comparison to Fuchs. My 9x16 Fuchs are somewhere near 18lbs/wheel. 9x17 Ruf wheels are somewhere north of 23lbs, IIRC.

You did. Because not one time did I ever say I expected them to weigh the same thing. Making a comparison is not the same as having an expectation. I shouldn't have to explain this to an adult, but I guess these are the times we live in.

The inference in context here is that you were expecting them to be more similar in weight. Maybe inference is too subtle a distinction for you.

OBVIOUSLY I was mistaken when you said

It seems I must 'grow up' in order to understand your logic.

I hope I never grow up.

No, you're still confusing the word "comparison" (which I used, explicitly) with the word "expectation", which I used precisely zero times. Now, you have used a word correctly. You used the word "inferred". Yes, you did infer something, and your inference was just plain incorrect. And when I pointed out that you screwed up, instead of copping to it, you blamed me for making a comparison. I wasn't implying anything, nor did I have any expectation. You just made all that up. How about you grow up and admit you made a mistake, huh?

Well, two things:
I do believe you can quote me as having said "I MADE IT UP". WELL before you decided to call me on it.
AND if you can do it I can do it. So go fck yourself.

SO you comparing the weights of two rims in the midst of a discussion of how heavy these rims are has no inferred expectation. GOtcha.

You have a serious case of 'last-word-itis'. I already SAID I hope I never grow up. You can quote me on that!

Irony. Hey, since you seem to think you can read my mind, what am I thinking right now?

Never have I once inferred, implied, expressed, or expected that I could read your mind.
Besides, you already quoted me on it.

Well, everyone reading this thread knows that's not true. You said I expected something when I didn't actually didn't write anywhere about expecting anything. That certainly implies mind-reading powers (and crappy ones at that.) Tell me again how you came to think of yourself as a psychic? Or, maybe the more plausible explanation: your grasp of the English language is poor, and you don't know the difference between the empirical and the emotional. Here let me help you with your English:

Comparison | Define Comparison at Dictionary.com

Expectation | Define Expectation at Dictionary.com

Good luck in your studies.

The "special wishes" claim is sort of dubious since they cant support it. A couple of "dealers" said "...it looks factory" is really meaningless.

The wheels are cheapo Speedline knockoffs.

I wondered about that myself. If the COA said something about it, then that would be one thing. But a dealer claiming something untrue to get a higher selling price? Well, that's never happened.

Agreed overall very dubious advertising. I followed the link and went through all the BS only to find the claim of it being a factory special wishes widebody is spuriously based on the word of ' a couple of Dealers ... '
Disappointing !
