Hey man, yer the one who compared apples to opranges without any expectations whatsoever and then were surprised at the resulting inference.

THis sounds like qa ****rty buzzfeed headline: "MAN COMPARES APPLES TO ORANGES AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!! ( Or maybe you will since it's ERic we're talking a bout here) "

Well, everyone reading this thread knows that's not true. You said I expected something when I didn't actually didn't write anywhere about expecting anything. That certainly implies mind-reading powers (and crappy ones at that.) Tell me again how you came to think of yourself as a psychic? Or, maybe the more plausible explanation: your grasp of the English language is poor, and you don't know the difference between the empirical and the emotional. Here let me help you with your English:

Comparison | Define Comparison at Dictionary.com

Expectation | Define Expectation at Dictionary.com

Good luck in your studies.

I'm very sorry that you can't find a clue. Comparing two types of Porsche wheel weights isn't apples and oranges, it's Honeycrisp and Red Delicious. You're wrong, and you're just too small a person to admit it. The fact that you admit it's an inference is a step, and the next step is to admit you made it incorrectly. Take the next step into adulthood, Nick.

I couldn't tell if it was from a dealer or not.

amazongreenie 12-01-2015 01:47 PM

It is not being sold by a dealer.
One of the eBay listing's photos shows the options decal on underside of hood which shows the 5-digit code number for Special-Wishes/Exclusive Program Department code.
Additionally, owner has recent letter from Porsche via PCNA on PCNA letterhead stating that the car was in fact at Porsche's Special-Wishes/Exclusive Program Dept. after it was completed. In other words, car was completed, left factory, then shortly after returned to factory's Special-Wishes/ Exclusive Program where the bodywork was done. That is the ONLY reason why the option is not on the COA. Period.
But hey, I'm upset too that I don't own it !

Take care, Eric, as commentary like that will have Norm blowing up my PM box with jealousy laden threats to withhold his Popeye arm!

Interesting that the options sticker which should have been on the car when it originally left the factory shows a code for that?

Not really doubting it just wondering.... its a very odd set of details. The seller might want to post photos of those letters from PCNA. I suspect that would go a long way toward selling the car. Of course ditching those wheels would too, IMO.
