Actually that 87 never sold it was relisted but did not sell. Fwiw the interior can be changed easily back to black and all the other items easily replaced. What's important is that the engine and tranny are healthy plus no significant body butchering. If all is ok with ppi then IMO $40k would be fair.

I've said it here before, and I'll say it again. 80k is the "buy it now" price for my '79 Minerva Blue 930. I'll even wash it and vacuum the interior before delivery to the buyer

I think that guide looks about right.
Condition 1 - Best in the world Condition 2 - regional or club winner Condition 3 - not a daily driver, but does not have original parts Condition 4 - Daily driver, visibly flawed. |

The sad part for us guys down here is if you discount the the 89 cab all of those cars would fetch a hell of a lot more than the figures. Hell a good basic SC is now a 45K car here and a 3.2ltr G50 car is pushing 50k.

No, but that's how Hagerty labels them. Mine is insured through them and all the paperwork says 911 Carrera Turbo.

Truth is most(if not all) of these cars are emotional buys. That is a huge driving factor when looking to get into one or looking at values. Hagerty's average price is merely a suggestion at what they think the market is. The prices are all over the place but they are rising(for how long who knows). Most cars out in the market will need something...how much? is really up to how perfect the buyer want to get her. Modding is a whole other world that can make you weak in the knees(ask me how I know
![]() The days of $25k 930's are over(for the most part). That is not to say that every now and then a great deal can't be had. Due diligence and a good ppi is a must. It is really the buyers and sellers that determines the market....not a magazine.....just ask yourself "how bad do you want it"....lol

I know of two $25K sales in the last few months. Both were modified drivers.
The cars listed in this thread are all high end garage queens. By the Price Guide standards most of our cars are #3 or #4 which is $20K-$35K. That is pretty realistic for the moment.

Don't get me wrong.. that level of detail is really sexy to look at, but it is not authentic. Once its at that level, and given what was paid for the car.. is the new owner really going to use it? Probably not and what a shame for that car.

after spending nearly a year looking for mine, you know there is something wrong when they take multiple duplicate pics of the same angle of the car but yet dont show the entire car. i bet the engine and tranny are covered in oil. another negative. never buy a car like this that has a sound system of an 18yr old. you can add mine. an 86 with 44k miles for 36k. very clean and straight car i find it hard to believe some of the prices.

look who is selling these cars. dealers and brokers. they can jack the price then sit on it til some sucker comes along. believe me, i ran into this more than once. just look up my thread on "stop giving your cars to brokers" or something like that.
i saw where one guy, one listed as a seller above, bought a car for 28k, then listed it for 39k. i had him down to 34k but he would not budge. i told him the car was a 30k car (before i new what it sold for). then i found the original listing and even called the PO. saw another listed for 39k by broker. found the original add by the owner listing it for 29k. he told me he would sell it to me for that when the contract ran out. brian might be a tad low. 27k-35k for a good 930. i dont htink you want a 20k 930.
