Paul Walker thought he was fast too. I'm just saying...
![]() If someone is posting about acting like an asshat on public streets, yep, they have zero respect from me. I didn't say a thing about it in his first post. But dude keeps going on and on about it. Not cool behaviour on public streets. Passing 2 cars under a double yellow at 100mph? Seriously guys. That's not hateraid. That's calling out someone for being a danger to all of us. And then that story about not going back for the guy that crashed because you were scared? Keep it on the track.

I must say - there is anger in Matt Monson. He jumped at me in the first post...and continues to ride me.
I am a newbie - have no idea who Matt is sans he is related to or owns Guard Transmissions a RennList sponsor and an awesome piece. Must rebuild my trans and remove the one I have in my car! Damn. LOL. Love the tranny. Seems odd that he would bring such anger to a public forum and possibly (inadvertently) tarnish the reputation of Guard Trans. Additionally, I dare say he is calling the Kettle Black. I suspect he wants us to believe he has never made an illegal U Turn, exceeded the Speed Limit, gone in the Exit instead of the Entrance, driven without his lights on when his wipers were on, backed out of a driveway onto a street, failed to yield the right of way, beeped when it wasn't an emergency, and the list goes on, but I feel you get the point. Illegal is all lumped together - it doesnt matter what it is and or who you are. You all know him. Has he never sped or just never put it on paper? I am oddly amused by the Paul Walker reference. What does it mean? They hadn't traveled far or long enough to put heat in the tires. 600 hp on cold tires = a slippery ride if putting the throttle to the floor. He wasn't driving - if he was, his accident would likely not have occurred as he respects the physics and was accustomed to paparazzi. The driver was showing off, trying to impress PW and paparazzi at an event. Enough on that said subject. Why Matt - Why are you riding me and in such a public display? |

^ the driver of the walker car is also used to paparazzi. but driving fast in public street not so good
matt is not "angry" he is straight shooter. says it like it is. he's a friend of mine, but that never stopped him from chewing me out periodically. i am not saint. i do speed too. but 10-15+ over and doing some spirited driving is "tolerable". going triple digits, passing over double yellow, or even 2mph over near shcool, not so much. |

I am The STIG Ok - I am shamed and saddened that my post was met with so much disdain. I heard the site was filled with cliques* but this is silly. I guess I'll go back to hanging out with my wife, redoing my home and working on some business. I dont feel any love here. For Matt - not saying he needs me to define it, but since he is riding me I will address my focus on Matt. clique (klēk,klik) noun plural noun: cliques a small group of people, with shared interests or other features in common, who spend time together and do not readily allow others to join them. |

Total rubbish. Matt asked what your initial post celebrating your driving experiences with various 911 models had to do with market valuation and you took offence and started slinging shart. Nothing more to it than that. |

I'm not riding you. In fact I gave you a free pass after post 1 even though your opening story had douchey behaviour all over it. You didn't take the pass. You mentioned me by name and chose to talk about me, even though you didn't speak to me directly. So why are you riding me? Your comparison of me making an illegal u-turn to you passing two cars across the double yellow at 100+mph isn't even in the same ball park. I won't get a reckless charge for that u-turn. You will get 3 or 4 separate violations. And if you hit someone you might kill them. My 12 mile an hour illegal biatch might break a tail light if someone I didn't see rear ends me. The law is not black and white. Breaking it is, but once you are across the line it gets very grey. A reckless with a fatality is the end of your free life, if you aren't the guy who died.

I am sorry you lost a friend and customer or two. That is true.
Your story about fatalities and "driving is dangerous" can and does happen to people at any speed. Speed is not the only factor in an accident. And in a litigious society, anything is possible. I just called and ordered a chauffer. My cars are now for sale (which goes back to your first post to me...what does this have to do with Value of cars...so this all comes full circle...Car Values in Marketplace discussion. So, what are my cars worth so I can post them for sale? I will use to proceeds to get on the waiting list for a Tesla with self driving tech. I can't wait for my self driving car. Self Driving cars seems to be what you are hinting at. A quasi socialist idea. Are you voting for Bernie? Self Driving cars will be good for your business - self driving cars all doing the speed limit without any need for LSD. I suspect the need for LSD will fall a bit. You will just have a tiny amount of racers to work with. I am here to write what interests me and follow those that interest me. Post and I will follow. I am sure to add my happy two cents to your blogs, comments and posts. Be careful with what you say, everyone says something 'that offends'. I can act like the Media; enhancing any perceived mistake (as you are doing to me). But I don't have a business tie to the Porsche world. Again, WHY? Why do you continue to be such a nasty person? |

As for the rest? I don't make parts for street cars. I make parts for racecars and something tells me that guys reading price discussions on Pelican aren't here looking for the last half a second a lap. I don't do business here and when I post I don't represent my business. And Ronnie is right, you tried too hard, Bris.

Ghey
Matt - are you using Urban Dictionary type for the word GAY to describe me? Can you please please inform us all as that is hate speech and per the Pelican Rules punishable by SUSPENSION. I am now filing a formal complaint with PELICAN to handle this as I am GAY and you calling me out in that tone in a public forum can be construed as Hate Speech. Please explain what you meant when you called me Ghey. I hope that you have no Ghey clients at GT as this is inexcusable. |

Interesting that a new member is coming on so strong using all caps and quoting forum rules. Calling out long time members... vs laying low or trying to diffuse things.

He's likely not a new member - smart money says this is Brisboats's shill account so that he can continue to badger Matt whilst serving his two-week ban,
