I saw that and thought it was cool to look at, but then again I can tell you it's nowhere worth that. It's an interesting variant, don't know what you'd do with it, probably for the guy with the SC collection that has everything. And it's a Dutch police car, not a German police car, so who really cares? Unusual - but it would be a really tough sell at half that.

Funny

I wondered why it was a targa! It does not seem at all functional for any police activities other than a car chase. It all makes sense now. Where do I get one of those white coats?

Sloan used to have a police kinda car that looked like the centerpiece of the collection. If I recall correctly it hadnt been used as a real police car, more like a demo/prototype. So I guess there is a collector demand for these...

Yes, the price on that SC is messed up. In the real world 70-90k tops! Looks to be in great condition though.

I take it back.
The cop in the white coat is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Nick buddy, you might want to take that back.

That "cop" is actually our very own Ronnie. Story is that he because of his prosthetic arm and numbness of the face was headhunted by the Dutch government to help the Dutch highway patrol. In the 80's he was the only human who could hold his arm in a 90 degree position for 8 straight hours.

This is no laughing matter - he was paid very well. Actually that is why he could afford the 930 and his flamboyant lifestyle.

The downside however is known by some of us and the people in his neigbourhood. As of this day he still wears the "cop" outfit and the helmet when he goes for a joyride in 930. Ever wondered why he got a white 930 - well now you know.

He still has the big mustache - not because it is the thing right now but to hide the stretch marks and scarring around his mouth.

Remember that we all have a history and some comment made as an innocent joke might actually hurt another persons feelings.

Have a great weekend,

Christian
