Most of the sand/oil crew aren't into the classics- rather to new, loud, flashy, over the top things that scream look at me. Wealthy collectors and enthusiasts still dominate the classic and specialty car market

Other than the "new" part you just described that GT2 perfectly - as well as almost every 911 Turbo ever made.

That is the ultimate 90's 911. Riviera Blue really pushed that price into the WTF range. Crazy money but where are you going to find another is the question?

Article states there's about 57 of them.. Does anyone know the real number on that? Plus if we have 73rs's going for a million plus and there were roughly 1500 of those produced. Given the amount produced on the 993 gt2. Would 2.4 million be considered a bargain??

The auction turned out to basically be a transfer of all these rare porches from one collection to another.
