All 912s originally came with a mask, all right, butt it wasn't a bird (see image grabbed from the 912 Porsche PET that shows available factory options)!

PS - I had a Momo Indy steering wheel on a 914 I used to own (way back before I discovered Turbo Powaaaa') - loved it.

PSS - isn't it about time you gave those wheels back to your wheelbarrow?!?!?!

E was used for performance designation, 912 is minus the performance.
