Help finding a part..

Hey guys,

I need to get a new passenger window trim piece for a 1977 911S, and having a hard time finding one for sale. Can anyone point me to one, please. I would greatly appreciate it. I looked through Pelican Parts page but not seeing it.. Perhaps I am overlooking it as there is so many different trims and moldings.

I am attaching few photos for you to see what I am taking about.

Cheers.

No. I figured it was just an interesting market point to share with mulsanbe since it is the same color.

mulsanne79,

It doesn't appear to be bent or damaged, why not just repaint or powder coat?

Thanks for the help fellows. I will make some phone calls today.

This car is not Targa, but a coupe. And yes, it is Ice Green metallic (paint code 266)

The repaint/power coating seems a good idea as well. I will definitely give it a thought if I'll have problem locating the right piece for the fix.

Cheers

Yes, I know it's not a targa!

They are anodized. Unless you redo the whole car painting or powder coating just one will look like shyte.

I just spoke to a local Porsche mechanic and he will take the door apart, glass bead the area and then paint it. Should work.

I probably said this a million times but my 75 was originally ice green metallic. I love this color and I am hoping I can get mine repainted back next year. Paint code on mine is 250 and I know the code changed in 76 or 77.
