Mario. Where were you at?

^^^That's funny. I have never seen that Boss Sheeper driving around.

BaT Essentials
Lot #8229
Seller: 911nick
Location: Rocklin, California 95677

specialtyoneinc 02-21-2018 01:40 PM

Not my cup of tea, but I would throw this in the well bought category.

1979-930 02-21-2018 01:45 PM

A bunch of the photos were from the parking lot of an Auto Repair shop on Granite Dr.
So I wonder how much of a "Private Sale" this one really is.

Matt Monson 02-21-2018 01:49 PM

I was really disappointed with the results. I really thought I was going to get $40k for it.

kc911s 02-21-2018 02:15 PM

Itza- where were you on that BAT auction? Looks like that yellow was right up your alley and sold @ $20,911.

Side note- why does every 911 seem to have that same shift knob on it(that the BAT car had)?

Because it's the most affordable way to add 10hp. Duh. It only works on air-cooled cars btw.

I saw that and was tempted. It would likely be cheaper to move everything and build that car then to do rust repair on my 75.

The cab versus coupe thing is a matter of personal taste, I prefer open air motoring.

The 964 is a generation more refined than the G-body. Far better G50 and shifter action, refined brakes and steering, modern ride isolation, etc. The torque from the 3.6 reminds me of a first-Gen 5.0 Mustang GT. Its easy to see why Singer uses them.

I'm loving my first 964. The haters can remain clueless.

Not sure how I missed this. If it wasn't a slant nose I'd be pissed I missed it. If it didn't have those rear quarter vents I'd be even more pissed. Thanks for the link.

I was sleeping on it forsure. Need to set up a BAT account, always thought the bigger $ cars only sold on there. I'm not sure why but these new posts did not show up yesterday on here. I logged in today and see all these posts from yesterday and a couple more are added each time I refresh the page not sure if pelican is having some tech issues.

I know beggars can'r be choosers but the rear vents and slant nose have me on the fence. Some slant noses look very good but idk the front end I'm looking for sets the car.

More that I look at it, the paint and the quality of that yellow one looked very reasonable.

Ugh...

Wonder if this one is a good one to pick up to make some exra cash. $4500 seems pretty cheap.

Take it home and sell it to fund the 911 fund..

How does it look?

Looks like a good one.

Too bad Alex Manos is on his way to pay cash as I type.

Looks like it is worthwhile to investigate. May be a nice one at a reasonable price. Fly in and drive home. What’s the hold up? Seriously, your post on this one should have been something like, “just completed ppi on this one and...” Then we could help more.

I don't know what you are expecting for $20k. You aren't going to get a prime example- without looking too hard at the auction that seems like a lot of car for the money. You act like you are looking near and far for a car but miss a perfect sheeper on BAT that's under your budget?
