Ideas? I already have a race car and other ridiculous builds, jut would at some point like to add a 930 to the collection. I think that one is way too far gone. There, i just convinced myself against. ![]() |

He is right.
There is always something. Even great deals can leave bad tastes in your mouth. Something genuine is the hardest to come across. I had someone coming to get the '78 Clean title roller on Sunday but once I checked it out Saturday I knew I would pass on them. I was checking out the 'complete' interior and noticed how the sport seats were removed.. I asked a few times where they went without a solid response so seller tells me they weren't authentic and that someone grabbed them [Whatever that means] So it was complete BS story, even though the parts might be worth something the body was pretty rough even for a parts car. Most likely going to pass. Going to be on the lookout for nicer examples now.. Time to grind harder. |

Seems like your expectations are low but good you passed on those. Way too much rust on that 78. That car needs to sit in covered storage for another 10-20 years and only maybe then it will be worth restoring...if values rise.
$25k is the starting point for a decent air-cooled 911. Likely an average driver quality 76-83 or below average 84-86 3.2. They are out there. Go find the best $25k car you can find and don't even consider project cars under $20k.
