Didn't realize some of you turbo owners were such a touchy bunch. Maybe the turbos are there to overcompensate...

Except in the case of rawknees.

Lol.

Looks like a little of PARF moved in here. Just kidding. Did not mean to stir the fires, just looking for opinions. I purchased car for 50k, have documented additional costs of 20k-25k. In shop currently performing leak down along with maintenance, estimated cost 5k. Will do a little more research. Was wanting opinions on where to advertise.

Do not think I have a 100k car, was thinking in the mid to high 80's. Will let you guys know how this goes.

Hey Bubba I'm not sure how you can discern my ethnicity from the internet, nor my position in my building ? Please enlighten us, I'm hoping it's got to be more interesting than this revolving delusional insistence that the 930's are still in 'peak Porsche' pricing, while the majority of the porsche market is as flat as a crepe ...

^^^ I'm good. I couldn't care less what my 930 is worth. It's not part of my portfolio.

Once their rehab is complete I am shipping the car to them, so I’ll personally send you an image of it if on display in their office if you’d like.

Sorry I offended you...

I still think BAT is the way to go, provided you have a good response strategy. The recent sale of a N/A red coupe was an interesting example. The owner didn't engage and the car sat flat at around $25k. But in the last couple of days the owner steadily started to respond to the pertinent questions, and engaged the peanut gallery. Bids increased and the price climbed accordingly.
Its hard to battle some of the negativity that can arise, and just like any thread here if you don't take action to quash some of the nonsense comments it can have an a negative effect. Not easy bcs a BAT thread requires patience and diligence but I could see their crowd responding to the car as it sits even without the OEM fuchs.

Question for the 930 experts.

Did a MY 87 - 89 930S come with wheel locks from the factory?

Were they an option that would be listed in COA or where they on every car?

Thanks, Speedster

Update. Car sold in 30 days for asking price (85K). I think pretty quick considering Christmas Holiday. I met some very nice people both domestic and international. Had 3 people in particular that were pretty serious. Car went to someone that saw car on Pelican. Thank you Pelican Parts. Car is going to a car guy, very easy transaction, great experience working with him.
