sorry to hear that.
while the "community" is tight, some of the ppl are not in the "community"
i only buy from known sellers.
i have sold a LOT of parts. none had any issues. except one set of front calipers for 997RS. buyer claimed they were as CLEAN as i stated. i did show picture of what i was selling. but it's not worth my time or reputation. i paid him return shipping to send them back to me. and refunded every penny with shipping both ways.

i trust smart ppl would do the right things. the "cheaters" , well karma is a *****.

I would think the seller new about the issues with the wheels when he sold them to you. So most likely would not have been very responsive even if you had contacted him immediately.

Yes, name the seller.
Agree....you are just as culpable as the seller if you know this and let this person continue to do business as he has done with you and other UNKNOWN people who you can help by preventing from being duped, scammed, etc....yes there might be finger pointing as expected, but honestly you would let this continue because "someone's feeling " will get hurt....Man up and name the seller and put it to rest!

so update, i took it to a place nearby that specializes in restoring classic wheels. they put it on their wheel balancer and he said he doubts it would hold air in the condition it was in. i'm 1,000% sure the guy knew what was wrong with the wheel cause he tried to "refinish" or "restore" them by grinding the bent lip down and then polishing it up.

good thing for me the wheel was able to be fixed and it only cost me $150. still, the guy who sold it to me is still a douche IMO.

..........So you will continue to let others get in the same situation as you are in now by not naming him?

If you are interested in finding out who the seller is and G50911 doesn't want to out him...just look for past posts. You will find it.

BTW, the seller hasn't logged in since July of this year.

$150 at local rates looks like a deal.

How was the wheel fixed ?
