1975 Carrera values? YELLOW.

Going to sell this and was hoping to get an idea of value range.

Looks nice, but cant really hazard a guess without some more details and whats original on the car. Based on looks alone BAT would be a place for your car. There is a nice looking white 75 on cars F/S which im surprised has not yet sold. I think really good pics are the key to BAT and you should check out some of the other yellow cars posted that have sold on there. The 72t with a 3.2 performed very well, and had really great images.

Im curious is the DS Mirror yellow from the factory ? I thought they were trimmed in black on the Carrera.

What happened to the original wheels? Why doesn’t the rear decklid close properly?

Hard to say. If numbers matching and largely original with no short cuts then 55-60K I'd say.

I have a soft spot for the 74-75 Carreras.

I think he just took photos with hood and deck lid not latched.

Hood is fine just not closed. Matching numbers, wheels aren't original? 15s x 7 F and 9R? Not sure on the mirror,

There are several for sale that aren't moving at around $50-$60K. However, yours has the very cool color going for it.

I wish I bought back in 2011. I really like '75s now.

Wheels usually would be 6 and 7x15. I've never seen the gold script without the gold wheels, but anything is possible. You don't have a COA on it, do you? It would show the answers to both questions.

Sports seats or no sport seats? What's the interior look like?

Those are not Fuchs wheels, correct (they look much different than the original 7s and 9s on my 1987 Turbo)?

Whoops - I just saw where they are 15" - maybe the lip on 15" Fuchs look like that (much different than 16" versions).

Here’s a reasonable comp for a numbers matching, great color 74/75. It is a 74 targa, yours is a 75 coupe. I think they will be of similar overall value

Nice car but will have a hard time clearing $45,000 as is. Easy high value fixes: I would emphasize getting it back to original..... mirror is wrong, wheel finish, rear valance..... There was a similar 75 Carrera coupe which sold on BaT earlier this year.... there is also a Peru Red 75 currently on the market in AZ for $55,000.

The mirror is correct it just needs the yellow paint taken off of it.

On a yellow car you would think the carrera script would be black.

The '74 cars are getting at least a 20% premium over the '75 cars due to the ducktail.

Painted mirrors to match the body were available in '75.

Interesting, i never knew that. Picture shows what i believe to be an italian delivery car. The clear lens on the turn signal / reflector setup.

Interesting. Verify it was correct and the mirror is good to go.

And that 74 is one of the ones fitted with Carrera RS flares, and not the later SC type ones.
